Kim, Kanye Purchase Former Lisa Marie Presley Estate
The reality TV/rap-star couple is at it again.
Despite whiffing on their dream to wed in France, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have found a marital solution for their American domicile: AFrench country-style estate in Los Angeles.
The couple, better known as “Kimye,” is reportedly buying an 8,000-square-foot home in Hidden Hills that was formerly owned by Lisa Marie Presley. The estate, which sits on three acres and includes a vineyard, had been listed for $22 million.
After the couple and their daughter return from jet-setting to Europe and Mexico, where Kanye is recording a new album, they will have a sumptuous place to land at home in California. The master bathrooms — one for each of them — have steam showers and saunas and a private patio with a spa. There are 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, some of them in the separate guesthouse. There’s also a sprawling kitchen with not one but three islands.
Now the actor has decided to sell the tiny little abode that spans all of 603 square feet – just enough for 1 bedroom and 1.5 baths. The price? Not quite so tiny at $808,000, which is a play on the Los Angeles telephone area code.
With his new marriage to actress Alexis Bledel, the pair may be finding the little bungalow a little too … little, despite its nifty space-saving features.
The bed hangs from the ceiling via a pulley system and turns into a desk. A red theater curtain pulls across the bedroom for privacy, and the lid of the outdoor coffee table lifts off to reveal a fire pit.

He may star in a TV show that highlights the mad life of 1950s New York advertising, but actor Vincent Kartheiser’s home is straight out of Dwell magazine modernity.
Kartheiser bought the bungalow 10 years ago for $547,000 and worked closely with builder Funn Roberts to redesign it in 2010.
